Data Collection

Sidangin collects personal information through your Google account when you sign in to our platform. This information includes the name, email address, and profile photo associated with your Google account. In addition, we collect data related to your uploaded thesis documents, defense simulation answers, and the feedback provided by the platform. We also store information about your minute-quota usage and quota purchase history. To prevent abuse of the free quota (creating multiple accounts), during registration we also process a device fingerprint and IP address solely for security and abuse-prevention purposes — not for advertising.

Data Usage

• Personal data is used to identify you and manage your account, including your available minute quota (5 free minutes for new users plus any additional quota you purchase).
• We use simulation data to provide accurate AI feedback and performance analysis during your thesis defense simulation sessions.
• We may use your data to communicate important information about your account, minute quota, and platform updates.
• Simulation data is used to improve our AI algorithms and deliver more accurate recommendations.

Data Sharing

Sidangin does not share your personal data with third parties, except where necessary to process payments through a secure third-party provider or to comply with legal obligations. Your thesis documents will not be shared or used for any purpose other than simulation and analysis within our platform. We use Google services for authentication, but we do not share your simulation data back with Google.

Data Security

We take appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. Thesis documents and simulation data are stored securely and are never distributed. Payment information is handled securely by trusted third-party providers. While we have not yet implemented end-to-end encryption, we are committed to keeping your data confidential and secure.

User Rights

• Access and view the personal data associated with your Google account.
• Request deletion of your simulation data and uploaded documents.
• Download a copy of your simulation data in a machine-readable format.
• Unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time.
• Limit the use of your data for AI training.
